Our Story.

Lenore’s deep love of horses began at a very young age and remained with her into adulthood. She explains, “Horses are amazing, intelligent and sensitive, each with their own personality. They are quite intuitive; able to pick-up on emotions and energy. Not only do they read each member of their herd, they know what kind of mood you’re in before you even approach them. I have enjoyed observing their playfulness, witnessed them focusing on learning and I’ve watched-over them as they’ve experienced grief. When I was a kid, my favorite days were spent with my Dad’s horse…I loved my time at the barn! I have learned so much from horses, they have shaped my life.” After her young years at home with horses, Lenore’s adult life required her to board her horse, Lucky. This was an entirely new experience and she quickly became aware of the separation anxiety which hit her every time she left the facility. After spending a few years at different boarding barns, she decided to offer the type of barn that she would trust with her horses. Lenore found her current home and she and Lucky, her horse, set things into motion. Star was her first boarded horse….she combined their names and her dream began to come true!
